Medical-grade speech recognition with speaker diarization (Doctor vs. Patient). Transcribes clinical vocabulary, drug names, and anatomical terms with 90%+ accuracy. Audio is processed in batch mode with word-level timestamps.
PHI De-identification (NER)
AWS Comprehend Medical
Named Entity Recognition detects Protected Health Information (patient name, DOB, MRN, phone, address) and replaces it with placeholders before any text reaches the LLM. Defense-in-depth: even though our LLM has Zero Data Retention, we de-identify anyway.
SOAP Note Generation (LLM)
Claude 3.5 Sonnet via AWS Bedrock
Foundation model generates structured SOAP notes (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan) from the de-identified transcript. Every claim in the note must include a citation linking back to the exact words spoken in the transcript. If the AI can't find supporting evidence, it writes 'Not documented' instead of inventing content.
Hallucination Verification
Custom post-generation check
After the LLM returns the SOAP note, a verification pass checks every cited transcript quote against the actual transcript. Claims with no supporting evidence are flagged with a yellow warning badge in the doctor's review UI. Notes never auto-sign — mandatory physician review.

These specialties carry the heaviest documentation burden and have the lowest competitive intensity from enterprise scribes. All 12 specialty templates will be available by public launch.
- Do I need to sign a long-term contract?
- No. Design partners have no contract — just a simple agreement to provide feedback. After the design partner period, all plans are month-to-month (or annual with a 15% discount). You can cancel anytime.
- What if a patient doesn't consent to recording?
- ConvoClin enforces two-party consent universally — even in one-party consent states. The 'Start Recording' button is disabled until the patient explicitly consents (via digital QR-code signature or verbal attestation with audio capture).
